Hello,
I am Rachel. It has been a very strong passion of mine to help others. For a while I was unsure as to how to do that. I have two beautiful children and with pregnancy sometimes comes a postpartum mess. Through yoga, I not only lost a bunch of my baby weight, but I also found hope in my darkest moments. This is when I really noticed that yoga doesn't only make you feel physically better, but it can seriously affect you mentally. With that realization, I made it my personal mission to become a certified yoga instructor so that I could help lift others up.
Harnessing the power of yoga is a revelation. Of course, I am determined to continue my education with the ISSA and learn to focus my energy on other areas of physical fitness and overall health. The reason I chose the name Inner Blossom Yoga was simple: you are beautiful inside and out. You should feel beautiful throughout yourself. Yoga is not only an everyday workout for me. It is a way of life.
This revelation led to another; as they often do. I started to notice that while doing more yoga, I felt the need to eat better and cut out a lot of the toxic things I was putting into my body. I started thinking about my step-father suffering through his diabetes and my mom that has always been between one diet and the next. They recently made the switch to a healthier lifestyle. The change started with cutting out sugar, and turned into much happier individuals!
I began to wonder if I could help others reach that same level of encouragement. I decided to take the Fitness Nutrition course at the ISSA to learn more about healthy eating. A diet is more than just eating...it too is a lifestyle! I firmly believe that healthy living is for everyone! I am so excited to work with you!
